Jang Geun Suk and many other Hotties plan to enlist in military service this year

As we all know, all Korean men have to serve the military between 18-35 years old. A lot of Hallyu stars are planning to enlist in military service this year. One of the rumored actors to enlist is Jang Geun Suk.

We cannot deny that at the age of 26, Jang Geun Suk is at the prime of his career. Most Korean men would enlist before they reach the age of 30. At 26, Jang Geun Suk is at the perfect age for the military service. Oh no! What to do if Jang Geun Suk will really serve the military. There won't be anymore of him for the next 2 years. That would be tormenting. Unfortunately, even if he does not enlist this year, sooner or later he will have to. Perhaps it would be better for him to enlist early on so that his career would go smooth after his service.

It is not only Jang Geun Suk who is rumored to serve the military this year. Other Hallyu stars who are planning to enlist this year includes Yoo Ah In, the genius pianist in Secret Love Affair. He will just finish the drama before he will enlist. Inspiring Generation's Kim Hyun Joong plans to enlist in October.

Kim Soo Hyun of You Who Came From The Stars already went through the first stage of admission which is the physical examination. However, there is no definite time as to when he would serve the military. Choi Jin Hyuk of Emergency Couple also passed the exams for military service but will serve the police first before he enlists. Park Yoo Chun who stars in the current drama Three Days has asthma so he is a reserved member and will serve as a public service worker.

Fortunately, 26 year old Lee Min Ho has no plans yet to serve the military yet. Taecyeon of Wonderful Days plans to serve in 2016. That means that we still have some hotties left if all those mentioned above would really enlist this year.

Although these are just rumors, the drama world would be quite affected if all of them would serve in the same year. There are still a lot of hotties left to *munch* on, Lee Hong Ki, Jung Yong Hwa, Kim Woo Bin, Joo Won, Yoon Shi Yoon and many others. Let's not forget those who just returned from the service Kim Jae Wook and those who are coming back after a year Song Joon Ki and Yoo Seung Ho. Let's see what the service had made them.

Korean Drama: Inspiring Generation 2014

After the conclusion of Pretty Boy comes Kim Hyun Joong's Age of Feeling also known as Inspiring Generation. Sadly, I haven't watch it yet since I cannot find any good source that streams the drama. I've read good reviews about it but still watching it is different. It is the counterpart of SBS You who came from the Stars who got high viewer rating for it's timeslot. I wonder if Inspiring Generation can win over it.  SBS drama rating dropped while KBSs increased than how it was with Pretty Man.

I got used looking at Hyun Joong's Flower Boy image and now this is a new image that can either break him or put him to the top. Well, let see about that. He seems manly and still has the same Hyun Joon look in his eyes which is what I love about him.

**UPDATE**
After doing some research, found a link here that actually works. I haven't watched it though, will watch it over the weekend. But I wish that gooddrama would have this series in their list since I can watch it while I'm mobile. For now, until it is not yet available in Gooddrama, watching it with viki will have to do for now.

Upcoming Korean Drama: Kim Hyun Joong's Age of Feeling 2014

As we all know, City Conquest was supposed to air early this year but because of difficult circumstances that the prodcution team expereinced, sadly it will never air, not now, not ever. Kim Hyun Joong, the star of the series already backed out of the team and filming has stopped.

 Fortunately, that did not stop Hyun Joong from acting since he signed another contract for a new drama series called Age of Feeling. It was supposed to be aired KBS on the time slot of Pretty Man but it was postponed to give way for Pretty Man. KBS promised it is not cancelled but only postponed. Filming is already taking place, so hopefully it would really push through.

Korean Drama: Boys Over Flowers (2009)

Geum Jan Di (Goo Hye-Sun) is a poor but strong girl who does just about anything to live. Because of her strong attitude, she got admitted to an exclusive school where only the rich an afford. She did not have any friends and often gets bullied by the rich kids. She met the princes of the school, the F4, composed of  Goo Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho), Yoon Ji-hoo (Kim Hyun-joong), So Yi-jung (Kim Bum), and Song Woo-bin (Kim Joon). Their first meeting was not a very pleasant one. They started out as enemies and eventually they liked Jan Di for her strong will and attitude which made Jun-Pyo fall for her. As the story progressed, a love triangle sparks between Jan Di, Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo.Thier adventure as friends and the challenges that they have to overcome is what the story is all about. (see wiki)

This drama is an adaptation of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. It is the fifth adaptation of the said manga, Meteor Garden (Taiwanese drama) being the first adaptation. This was the series that made Lee Min Ho rise up. I watched this only after I watched his other drama, Personal Taste. I thought that the story would be the same with Meteor Garden (I watched this from start to end and even skipped school just to watch the drama LOL), which was actually true but there was something on this drama that distinguishes it from Meteor Garden and that is Lee Min Ho himself. The story may seem like just another teeny bopper drama but it the cast played it right to the point that it levels up to other successful drama's such as Winter Sonata.
