Kimi Wa Petto (You are my Pet) is a Japanese Drama about a career woman, Sumire Iwaya, who lives on her own and then suddenly changed her lifestyle because of a pet. The pet is not just a dog but a young man named Goda Takeshi. He is not called Takeshi by Sumire but he is called a dog's name, Momo. Momo is a popular ballet dancer.
Momo has changed Sumire's life by letting her cry on to him when she is down and have problems. Sumire is then torn in between her boyfriend, Hasumi and Momo. She is confused about her feelings for Hasumi and Momo, but Momo is falling for her even though he is only being treated as a dog with no human rights.
The series shows the characters development and their everyday encounter and struggle in the house and in the office of Sumire. In the end, Momo has go to Germany to continue his studies for ballet there but he choose to stay with Sumire instead to have a meaningful life.
