Korean Movie: Windstruck

Windstruck movie poster.jpgPolice Officer Kyung Jin (Jun Ji-Hyun) met Myung-Woo (Jang Hyuk) in a not so romantic way. Myung-Woo was trying to capture a theif when he Kyung-Jin mistakenly accused him of being the thief. Somehow they were handcuffed to each other for a whole day and got to know about each other. This was the start of their love story. They went on a trip and got into an accident where Myung-Woo almost died but Kyung-Jin saved his life. After that incident their lives went on and their love deepened. However, death haunts his target and this time took the life of Myung-Woo in a crime scene where Kyung-Jin thought she killed him. Kyung-Jin was so depressed with the loss and was never able to move on. She promised herself that she would find justice for his death by capturing the person in the crime scene before 40 days and after that she will move on.

I laughed so hard at the first part of the movie especially when they were teasing and joking around. As expected of a typical Korean story, the second half was full of tears. Starting at the part where Myung-Woo almost died. I cried so hard in the end when Myung-Woo is already leaving earth. Kyung-Jin was so hopeful he would stay but he couldn't, too bad. The title of the movie Windstruck was taken when Myung-Woo promised her that he will become the wind when time comes that he has to leave earth and this was evident with the pinwheels all turning in the room. It looks so nice, I tried to make our little room like that but there was not that much wind coming from the outside. LOL

Just an additional information about this movie, this has a sequel Sassy Girl. It may not be a sequel but Sassy Girl is linked to this movie because of the progress of the story. Will be writing about it also.

Directed by Kwak Jae-yong
Produced by Jeong Hun-tak
Starring
Jun Ji-hyun as Kyung Jin
Jang Hyuk as Myung Woo

Upcoming drama of Jang Geun Suk and Lee Min Ho

I know I promised to write about reviews on the dramas and movies I have listed before but I'm trying to find sources of the drama before I can make the reviews. **Sounds to me like an alibi nyahaha** Sort of... I'll work on it soon, Promise! Yaksoka ^_^

This will be just a short update on the upcoming projects of Jang Geun Suk and Lee Min Ho.

October is the air date of The Heirs which stars Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. I thought it will be in August but too bad I have to wait for another 2 or 3 months more. I can't wait. Filming is already in progress and updates are always posted in Facebook. Addikness. LOL

As for Jang Geun Suk, after a Love Rain, which according to him has "burned him", he is coming back with "Pretty Boy".  It is based on a manhwa (just like the Japanese manga) of the same title. I have read a lot of negative comments about the title only. "Why is the title like that?" "Why can it not be something else?" Yes, the title is a little awkward and somehow stupid but what can we do about it, the tittle says it all. Plus, it actually fits Jang Guen Suk himself. :b According to AllKpop.net it will be aired later this year, hopefully. I will be looking forward to it.

Now the big problem is, where will I watch the drama since dramacrazy.net is no longer existing? I have to figure this out before October comes. Hopefully, The websites I recently found would have these dramas, if not Youtube, please don't disappoint me. ^_^ Till then!
