I know that the movie has been out earlier in 2013 and have watched it before, but my friend just watched it the other day and it reminded me watch it again and then write about it.  Watching it the second time still made me cry and it was even weirder because I watched it during the day in my workstation at home where people can see me. HA! Good thing my peers at home are busy in the kitchen. Although, I tried not to cry, tears just kept falling and my eyes were swollen after the whole movie

This is one movie that can make you cry your heart out and use a whole box of tissue. This one and the Wedding Dress, which I have to write about sometime, made me cry so bad. It just shows that the rich and powerful gets what they want though it is not fair for the person they accused. Mentally challenged people are taken advantage of by people who have power. At first, you would see how lovely Ye Sung was to cheer on her mentally challenged father. She even had the inmates changes their way of living. Lee Yong Gu, Ye Sung's mentally challenged father, just wants Ye Sung to be happy and safe and although he has the intelligence of a child, all he can think of is his daughter. Even the prison chief was touched by how Yong Go and adopted Ye Sung.

The last farewell of Yong Go and Ye Sung was the most heartbreaking. Yesung was not aware that it would be the last time she will be with her dad and Yong Go just breaks down and begged for his life in front of Ye Sung. Yong Go's cry resonates throughout the prison and all the inmates who has been with him just kept silent with teary eyes. So sad that he was sentenced to death just so the death of the daughter of the minister would have a suspect.

Miracle on Cell no. 7 has won several awards namely, Best Actor and Supporting Actress. Additionally it is the third highest grossing films in South Korea with over 12 million viewers in just 52 days since it was released. The child Ye Sung is so cute and her acting is so good even at her young age. Definitely a must watch.
