Korean Drama: The Heirs - Episode 13 Summary and Review

I know this is a late post but what the heck, just like the old saying goes"Better late than never."

Episode 13 is where Cha Eun Sang finally gave in. The episode starts where they were staring at each other outside Eun Sang's part time. Kim Tan asked if the promise Eun Sang made while they were in America still valid (she would run away with him when he is in trouble). She did not answer but instead hugged him.  See, I was right that she would give in any moment.

The scene changed to Rachel and her mother talking. Rachel is told to not break up with him yet and wait
until the Tan and his brother would fight for a position in the company since the stocks would go high in that time and that is the time that she should break up with him.

Since Tan ran away from home, he and Eun Sang had to find a place to spend the night and the perfect place for that is Myung Soo's workshop. Kim Tan changed the password so nobody can come in. As they were talking, Myung Soo is at the door trying to open it up but the password is not working. HA! They talked and Tan slept first because she had to study. Morning came and they went out only to by photographed by poor Myung Soo who spent the night outside. LOL I laughed so hard at Myung Soo's desperate face and he is ready to expose them hahaha

They went to school right after they took Myung Soo and talked to him in the car. On thier way to school, Eun Sang finally had the courage to trust Kim Tan and lean on him.

They walked to the school while holding each other's hand and they run into Young Do. They just talked and threatened each other. On the broadcasting room, Rachel went in and as soon as Tan arrived, she slapped him. Eun Sang had to witness this and walked out. Rachel's anger is directed to Kang Ye Sol, exposing her identity that her mom works at a hostess bar. Bo Na and Rachel are at the cafeteria and telling Ye Sol to sit on the chair reserved for students under social welfare class. Kim Tan saved her but Young Do interrupted and poured the curry in Tan's uniform. Because of this Chan Young and Bo Na argued and broke up. Chn Young-Bo Na couple should win the best couple award. They look so cute together and Bo Na is so childish which makes them the best couple.

Back at the mansion, Tan's mother and father are waiting for him. But the chairman kicked him out and took away his wallet and coat. He is only left with only his school uniform, no money, no credit cards or even clothes. With an empty-handed, he called his friends, Myung Soo, Hyo Shin, Chan Young and Bo Na, to ask for help but none of them offered him any help. HyoShin offered to let him stay at his place but Tan is scared of Hyo Shin's mom.

 At the cafe where Eun Sang works, Kim Tan's mom visited her to talk to her about Tan and thought if she could see him there and she did. She used Eun Sang as a hostage in order to bring Tan back home but instead Tan insisted that he will not go home. Madame Han took Eun Sang back home. Tan went to Zeus Hotel where Won is staying and asked if he could stay for the night. Won was a brother to Tan and let him stay for the night. He even sent him to school where he saw Hye Joo. She will be teaching at Jeguk High.

Chairman, Chairwoman and Secretary Yoon are talking business over dinner and the chairman decided to temporarily stop transferring the stocks under Kim Tan. The chairman also decided to send Eun Sang abroad to study.

Another day at school and Eun Sang and KimTan met at the lobby where they talked about how they spend their night. Eun Sang offered him a doughnut stick and Tan bit on the donut that Eun Sang was about to put on her mouth.

After school where Eun Sang worked at the cafe, her manager informed her that the cafe was reserved for two hours for a special event.  Young Do appeared and talked to Eun Sang. She kept ignoring him and eventually poured his drink on the floor just to get Eun Sang's attention. Finally, she talked to him and there he confessed his feelings for Eun Sang. But she politely rejected him. She told him to pick on her whenever he wants, she doesn't care but Young Do said he will pick on everyone else except her because it will break his heart if he picks on her.
 
The next day, Young Do was at the broadcasting room and doing an announcement about Kim Tan's secret and identity. Tan slowly walked towards the broadcasting room while Eun Sang rushed and arrived there first stopping the broadcast. Tan arrived at the room but Young Do looked Eun Sang and himself inside. Tan is in a state of panic, anger and desperation. He tried to push the door to open it but to no avail. Young Do told Eun Sang that Tan is one of the people he will pick on and even himself is included. Young do picks a sad ending for himself. He is such a poor emotional baby.
