Korean Drama: The Heirs - Episode 15 Recap + Some Review (Partial)

I know this is quite a late post and I even skipped an episode. But hey, things happen for a reason. Forgive me or hate me if you must, but here goes Episode 15 of The Heirs.

It starts with a kiss on the forehead at the party of Yoon Chan and Bo Na.

Young Do talked to Rachel and told her that it will be the last time she can humiliate Eun Sang. Hyo Shin came and it seems that he did not take the college entrance exam.

At the mansion, Madame Han and Eun Sang's mother try to open the safe of the chairman. There she found photos of Tan and Eun Sang while they were in America. There was one photo that shocked her, too bad it wasn't shown. What could it be? hmmmm

At the party, Rachel told Tan that she can bear him leaving her but she cannot stand him being happy. Rachel is such a looser. If she cannot have him, nobody else can. So she went to Hyo Shin and kissed him. She did it not to make Tan jealous but to make him and Hyo Shin be distant from each other. Then came Hyeon Joo and saw the kiss. Hyo Shin then grabbed Rachel to kiss her again to make Hyeon Joo jealous. Everybody was shocked and Lee Bo Na threw a fit that her party is all ruined.

Eun Sang is a little tipsy after drinking 3 glasses of juice. Kim Tan suspected that Myung Soo must have put something on it.  The alcohol must have hit Eun Sang because she kept saying good things about Kim Tan and took his hand for the first time. Tan warmed up her hand because it was cold. 

At school Tan and Hyo Shin talked about what happened with the exam and why he did not take the exam. Eun Sang, on the other hand was approached by a bunch of girls who wanted to get back at her for fooling them. Young Do stepped in to save her as her black knight.
Young Do and Kim Tan are doing their school service when Won and Young Do's dad came to talk to the chairwoman. Young Do was praised by his father for beating Tan for the first time because of their ranking in school: Young Do at 98th while Tan is at 100th place, last to be exact.

Madame Han and Rachel's mom talked and Madame Han asked to formally break their engagement and used the photo she saw at the Chairman's safe to blackmail her, photo of Rachel's mom and Secretary Yoon kissing.  Rachel's mom agreed to break the engagement.  

At school, the class has to do a book report that they have to do it with a group. Eun Sang grouped with Chan Young and Bo Na but Young Do and Kim Tan has no group. At the cafe that Eun Sang works, Young Do and Kim Tan were there and wanting to make the book report with her. Since she has to work, she let the two of them watch the movie as she works but they were only watching Eun Sang. Then came the Empire bodyguards and took Kim Tan away. Eun Sang went with Young Do on his motorcycle to follow Tan. Well, this looks nice. Young Do and Tan is starting to be nice to each other.

Back at the mansion, the chairman and Madame Han are waiting for Tan and wanted to ask why the engagement was ended. The chairman, threatened him about doing something to Eun Sang. Kim Tan in under a house arrest this time. Eun Sang is disheartened as she sees a lot of bodyguards in the house. Chairman, Secretary Yoon, Chairwoman and Madame Han are in chairman's office. They are trying to avoid any news that may affect the company. Secretary Yoon is then fired and will be teaching Tan. Tan is not eating and he locked his door.

Kim Tan wanted to go to school but the bodyguards are on his way. They received order from the chairman that they can hurt Kim Tan if he insists in going out. I am sensing that Young Do will go there to visit him sometime.  Kim Tan will be under Secretary Yoon's care since he will be teaching him about the company. Tan doesn’t want to learn anything about the company.

The school is in a buzz about Kim tan being an illegitimate son of the Empire Group. All the students are talking about him and Young Do asked Eun San the number of guards in the mansion. To counter the news of Tan being an illegitimate son, the Chairman, had to make Tan a major shareholder of the company.

As expected, Young Do came to help and visited Tan at his house using the movie assignment as an excuse. Tan asked Young Do to help him get out. A man in a helmet is going down the stairs which the guards tried to stop but the man just kept going. Meanwhile, while that man in helmet is distracting the guards, Kim Tan used this opportunity to get out. 

The first person that Tan went to see was his brother Won. He told him that he did not have any intention of getting any share in the company and told him that he will give him his shares. Won doesn’t trust Tan and insisted that he go back to America and never come back. Tan got disappointed and change his mind. He doesn’t want to give him the shares and challenged him to try and get it from him. Oh... the brotherly love has now turned into a sibling rivalry. Yes! That’s the way to go Kim Tan, after how you showed him affection and he still doesn’t help. hmmmp He went back to the mansion and talked to his father and told him that from this day forward, he no longer has a father. The Chairman just told him that it is what the weight of the crown means.

Sometime during the talk of Won and Tan, Eun Sang was called by the chairman telling her to break up with him. She was given two tickets to a place far from Korea. She was told that she can spend the rest of her two weeks seeing him whenever she wants but after that she has to disappear from his sight without telling anybody. The guards were ordered to let Eun Sang go up to Tan's room. So when she tried, the guard moved from his post and let Eun Sang go up. Tan was shocked to see her outside but she just smiled. ---------------------CREDITS----------------------


This is a long one. As much as I would love to make a long recap to tell every scene that took place, I plan to just make a short summary next time due to time constraints. Just a heads up, I may not be able to write for Episode 16 due to some conflict in schedule. Too bad, the next episode is where they officially had a long kiss :D and probably the last kiss they will ever have because Eun Sang went away... huhu I'll try to make it though. WoooHH I have lots of backtracking to do. Care to help anyone?
