Korean Drama: Pretty Boy Episode 7-10 Compressed Summary

Because I have not been able to write the summary of Pretty Boy since episode 7, I have to punish myself. **PUNCH** Seriously, having a late post is illegal in the blogging industry but because this is a personal blog after all, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want.  But, Hey! I know, this attitude is not good. I will only do this for now since I have a limited time in a day to watch and write at the same time. Hopefully, come 2014, I could write real time. I would need some hand, though. ^_^

 Here is a brief summary of episodes 7 to 10. I will only discuss important turning points of our leads.

Episode 7 - Bo Tong Company was able to sell all of the cleaning socks they have in the last minute of the broadcast, thanks to help from the network of Kim In Joong. However, with this, Ma Te is now caught up in In Joong's web and seems to be trapped in it. He somehow figured her out and now she tells him to have a scandal with Myo Mi.



Episode 8 - So to get out of In Joong's web, Ma Te had to date Myo Mi, a world renowned actress, in public. As they get to know each other, Myo Mi figured out that Ma Te was being controlled by In Joong, just like her. Ma Te told her his childhood story where he grew up without a father and how hard it was for him. This opened up Myo Mi's heart and later confessed in public about the child she has hidden for years. this was the reason why she had to act as a lesbian in front of other people. At the time of Myo Mi's public announcement was the love confession of Bo Tong through the radio station.

Episode 9 - It's Christmas day in this episode and Bo Tong was torn into two since she promised to go to David's show on that day and Ma Te invited her to have dinner on the same time of David's show. Ma Te even bought her a snow queen dress to wear for the dinner date they have but she did not go to Ma Te. She went to see the performance of David at the street with his friends. There he sang a song dedicated to Bo Tong which is actually a confession of how he truly feels towards her.

Episode 10 - After David's performance, Bo Tong and Team Leader Choi went back home and there they saw Ma Te waiting for them. He was angry at the fact that Bo Tong did not go to their dinner plan and dragged her to let her sleep in his place. Bo Tong tried to understand him and contained her feelings and left his place ans slept at her mother's store. Bo Tong also overheard the conversation between Ma Te and Yoo Ra and she learned that Ma Te is a chaebol's son. Another woman that Ma Te had to use is Kwi Ji, who appears in this episode as a brat and full of herself and she uses her money to "buy" Ma Te. He used her to get to MG Night party where he ran into Team Leader Choi.


Just a few notes on David's feelings towards Bo Tong. He is indeed the male version of Bo Tong because his love is one-sided only just like Bo Tong's love towards Ma Te. The love between Ma Te and Bo Tong is progressing reeeeaaaallllyyyy SSSSLLLLOOOWWWLLLYYY. I even think that, maybe there will ever be love between them, just deep friendship. Another thing to note is the identity of Na Hong Ran's son. Could it be David or is it Ma Te? Chances of it being David is slim because of the story of his past about his mother. Maybe it is Ma Te and the password he has been searching for was the locket that he gave to Kim Bo Tong. Why do I say so? Hmmmm Maybe because during the time that the locket was given to Bo Tong, an identical locket was seen with Na Hong Ran. Am I making sense?

The drama has 16 episodes right? As of writing, the drama is at its 12th episode with no progress at all. I think this is how Korean dramas are made these days. A dragging story line at front then it suddenly spikes up as it goes towards the end. I've seen a lot of dramas like this and it is somehow disappointing. Well, lets see how this turns out in the next episodes.
