Summary of Episode 19 The Heirs

I know this is another late post I have to do not only because of the storyline but because it is already ending and I just have to make it. LOL

It is Kim Tan’s birthday and all of the important people of the Empire Group are invited. Kim Tan's friends came as well as their relatives. The media is also present to capture the event.

Everyone was surprised to see Kim Tan with Eun Sang and the Chairman was shocked that Eun Sang even came with him. Since the reporters are watching and many eyes are there, the three of them talked in private.
There, Kim Tan expressed that he wanted to brag about Eun Sang to the world. The Chairman was in very mad at them and told them that they are crazy and eventually told them that they will regret what they did later and left. Eun sang was confused if that statement was an approval or a threat and Kim Tan said that it was an approval that can turn into a threat anytime.

They then went to the hotel room of Kim Tan's mom and they had a simple birthday celebration. Madam Han then asks Eun Sang where they are staying and the next thing we see is that they are going there first thin in the morning. It looks like she is seeing a long lost friend and they hugged. It seems to me that Eun Sang's mom is the only friend that Madam Han has ever had during her stay at the mansion.

 

Tan went to see Eun Sang's mother where his mom is still there. He asks to allow him to date Eun Sang but she is talking with sign language that only Eun Sang understands. She signs that she doesn't want to have anything to do with Tan's family and she wants Eun Sang to be home before 9pm. Eun Sang translates this and telling them differently. Eun Sang's mother then tried t hit her but Tan was on the way and did what he does best--acting. Haha It was a silent approval that everyone was waiting for.

At school the results of the final exams are out and the students cannot see it because Tan is covering the announcement with his own body. Everyone wants to see the results and Eun Sang saw what he is doing and called him. He ripped the results from where it was posted. Eun Sang then used her girlfriend rights to take it from him. Eventually after a while, he took her wallet where the paper was kept and none of them was able to see the results but Eun Sang's received a message from the chat app and popped up with the photo of the results from Chan Young. Myung Soo took Tan's spot and they saw that Tan was on the 50th place while Young Do is at the 27th place. HAHAHA Tan still has a long way to go before he can beat Young Do in academics. Eun Sang's spot is unknown since she ran away when she was asked about it. Hmmmm Maybe Eun Sang is near the 100th place since she wasn't able to study because of what happened to her.

Meanwhile, Young Do knew the whereabouts of her mother and was secretly seeing her from the outside of the cafe she owns. Then one day, he went in to really see her and they hugged as if it was millions of years they were separated. Then at Hotel Zeus, his father's office is raid by the investigators. They took the computers, files and anything they can use against Young Do's father. Young Do saw this but his father does not want him to see it and shove him off from the office.

Fast forward to where Tan talked to his mother about moving to another place. But she doesn't want to live in luxury and tells him to move back to the mansion instead. He told her that she is her father now and he has no plans of moving back there.

At the empty mansion, the Chairman is reminiscing about the time when Tan and Won are still kids and you can see it in his eyes that he somehow felt sorry for both of them. Then, the unimaginable happened. The chairman collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Tan, Won and Madam Han rushed to the hospital to see the Chairman while the Chairwoman is secretly plotting about getting the chairman's position because of his condition. Tan and Won knew her plan through Secretary Yoon and they are finding ways to stop this. Tan went to the rooftop to ponder and think about things and there he saw Young Do.-----CREDITS---- 

With all the hardships our hero and heroine had to go through, they just get the approval they have been wanting in just a short talk? WOW, the blessing could have been given to them earlier. This was probably done so to go back to the real essence of the drama, what it is like to be an inheritor of an established company. Unfortunately, the drama is moving to its ending already, so I am guessing that the business part is not as important as the romance in this drama. The resolution of all loose ends are compressed in this episode and the finale. Thus, we cannot expect the romance between Tan and Eun Sang to progress even more because they are trying to fix the issue about Tan being the heir of the company. Even so, up to this time, I enjoyed watching it.
