And so they got approval to broadcast at MG home shopping
network with the help of Kim In Joong.
David's feelings are slowly exposed but our dear Bo Tong is
so naive that she doesn't really have a clue that David likes her. Ma Te even
figured this out when he saw the way David looks like when he's with Bo Tong.
Meanwhile Ma Te has to get close to Kim In Joong. But her weakness
is gossip so the moment he tries to get closer, she gets always fast. This may
be a challenge for Ma Te.
Their first meeting was at a restaurant and he
learned that she will do anything in her power to help other people if she can.
On their second meeting at the hospital, he learned the essence of business. It
is not to have a lot of connections but to also be interested in the other
person's personal life.
While Ma Te is busy learning business matters, Bo Tong and
David are looking for suppliers that would agree to manufacture the socks for
them. They even joined a sock club where they met a weird owner of a sock
company who has the passion for everything socks. They tried to propose to their
ideas to the owner but they were dragged out of the office the moment he knew
that the socks are used for cleaning. Ma Te came in late but prepared and used
what he learned from In Joong to make the owner agree. The owner was moved by
how Ma Te proposed his ideas and eventually agreed to manufacture the socks.
The vice president of MG home shopping met with Ma Te and
told him that they will get the broadcast slot but he has to agree to their
terms: 60-40. This means that Ma Te has to pay 40% of the cost regardless if
the socks will all sell or not. Ma Te agreed and laid out his proposal that no
interference shall be done by the vice president whatsoever. The following day,
the broadcast slot is ready for their socks. However, they were not getting the
same number of callers as they had on their first broadcast. This worries them
especially with the 60-40 agreement they had with the vice chairman.

JGS has his lazy eyes very evident in this episode because he had a lot of close ups here. I wonder what episode will he feel something for Bo Tong. David is already very obvious but Bo Tong doesn't really see this and Ma Te is still in denial.
Why is it that most Hallyu-men stars always have to be rich and popular in a drama series? And it is always the girl that is poor or suffering. I would like to see Sukkie and Lee Min Ho in a role where they don't have anything and his life is really poor and difficult.
